About the position

The IT Analyst at United Digestive will be a key member of the IT Team, dedicated to providing exceptional technical support to physicians and staff. This role involves maintaining IT systems, assisting with projects, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations while delivering high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain computers, IP phone equipment, servers, and network equipment.
  • Work the Tier 1 support/help desk daily.
  • Assist with small- to medium-sized IT projects.
  • Follow and enforce UD IT Policies and Procedures.
  • Answer incoming calls in a timely and efficient manner; address technical support questions appropriately and courteously.
  • Respond to emails and voicemails and return calls in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare and deploy equipment for sites and users safely and timely.
  • Meet or exceed quality and productivity standards as set by the Director of IT.
  • Promote HIPAA compliance and maintain confidentiality regarding patient information.
  • Participate in staff meetings as directed by the Director of IT.
  • Provide on-site support for practice locations.
  • Perform any other duties and/or special tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; two years IT experience or Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • ITIL 4 Foundations Certification required or to be obtained within 60 days of employment.
  • Familiarity with Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10, 11 Professional and Enterprise, Server 2012/2019).
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, SQL, Citrix/Terminal Services, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange O365, Cisco Meraki Switches.
  • Experience with Cisco Unified Communications, SharePoint, VMWare ESX preferred.
  • Experience in IT related to healthcare, including HIPAA regulations, MSO 365, cloud services, and HL7/API interfaces preferred.
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks, ProVation MD/APEX is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in healthcare IT environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud services and HL7/API interfaces.
