About the position

The IT Business Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the divisions' Digital and IT strategic vision by collaborating with various stakeholders to implement and enhance IT Business Applications solutions. This position requires expertise in ERP systems, particularly in a manufacturing context, and involves gathering business requirements, analyzing processes, and delivering actionable IT solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and other business systems.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, analyze existing processes, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Translate business needs into clear and actionable functional/technical requirements.
  • Configure, test, train, and support business-related information technology requirements and systems.
  • Research and analyze user's business requirements, technical specifications, and write test plans.
  • Perform data analysis and reporting, including analyzing complex datasets and developing insights.
  • Create and deliver comprehensive reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Support organizational change initiatives by facilitating communication, training, and user adoption activities.
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring activities, tracking milestones and deliverables.
  • Establish methods to monitor and improve performance of systems and processes.
  • Identify deficiencies in IT systems/processes and recommend solutions.

Requirements

  • 4-year University/College Degree and significant technical/business certifications.
  • 3-5 years' experience in Information Technology.
  • Solid knowledge of business and ERP processes in a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience with SAP or Infor Visual ERP is a plus.
  • Experience in handling business processes for manufacturing, finance, and supply chain.
  • Proficient in IT life-cycle management methodologies, including design, development, testing, project management, and change management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with data mapping and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with change management practices.
