About the position

The Application Developer is responsible for understanding, maintaining, creating, and implementing technology solutions to meet the application, analytics, and data mining business requirements supporting Pipestone's products and services. This role involves collaborating with business users and IT staff to complete projects with a high level of responsibility and autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and provide ongoing support for existing .NET solutions that facilitate business processes.
• Collaborate with teammates and business users to define, design, and create new solutions and enhance existing ones.
• Assist with the creation and implementation of departmental and organizational processes and procedures as they pertain to IT activities and responsibilities.
• Evaluate existing solutions to refactor, maintain and add new features.
• Troubleshoot existing solutions in a timely manner to identify issues and restore functionality.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of relevant experience required.
• Solid understanding of C#, VB.NET, and/or ASP.NET (standard or Core).
• Knowledge of relational database systems, SQL server preferred.
• Proven technical knowledge of Information Technology field and computer systems in a Windows environment.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and effective critical thinking skills.

Nice-to-haves

• General knowledge of business, finance, or accounting preferred.
• Experience with ERP integration is a plus.
