About the position

The IT Application Project Manager III at The County of Hidalgo is responsible for managing multiple information technology projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This role involves assessing, planning, and documenting projects while collaborating with the Information Technology management team. The Project Manager will also perform data analysis, create reports, and supervise departmental staff assigned to specific project tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage three or more information technology projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Supervise departmental staff assigned to specific project tasks.
• Perform data analysis of project specifications and related data.
• Map out project objectives, timelines, and resource projections.
• Create and maintain documentation for all project phases.
• Track funding and budgetary expenditures for projects.
• Execute changes and updates to project tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 3 years of experience in the information technology field.
• 2 years of experience with project management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Nice-to-haves

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with project management tools such as Gantt Charts and Project Timelines.
