Responsibilities
- Formulate and define complex system scope and objectives.
- Devise and modify procedures to solve complex problems.
- Design and test complex applications to ensure systems work as requested.
- Act as a top-level technical expert in specialized areas of applications systems analysis.
- Consult on projects internally as an advisor.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Six years of applications experience in the relevant technology environment.
- Ability to develop complex system specifications and decision flows from written business requirements.
- Thorough knowledge of operational workflows.
- Extensive working knowledge of computer products relevant to the technical environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with peers and senior personnel.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills regarding system issues.
- Understanding of patient data and its use in a healthcare environment.
- Ability to develop complex system configurations/modifications from detailed specifications.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and database management in a PC environment.
