About the position

The IT Applications Analyst at Billings Clinic serves as the primary technology resource for clinical, financial, and third-party information systems. This role involves planning and designing business solutions, facilitating data integration, and providing operational support for system configurations. The analyst will also be responsible for user training and acting as a liaison between IT and the user community to enhance productivity and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day operational support for assigned systems.
• Participates in supported system implementations for Billings Clinic and its regional partners.
• Acts as a liaison and expert with the end-user community and software vendors to identify problems and concerns regarding technology performance.
• Researches, analyzes, and provides recommendations for corrective action to resolve system functionality issues.
• Collaborates with technical resources and software vendors for system enhancements and implementation of fixes.
• Maintains current knowledge of trends and developments related to information management systems.
• Identifies and seeks out growth opportunities and shares knowledge with colleagues.
• Provides front-line application support for Billings Clinic and regional end-users.
• Builds and maintains relationships with end-user staff to understand their objectives and needs.
• Participates in cross-functional teams and projects to ensure integration of new business initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (2 - 9 years).
• Experience with project timelines, resources, deliverables, and constraints.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Analytical and decision-making skills.
• Project management skills.
