About the position

The IT Applications Analyst - IT Clinical at Billings Clinic serves as the primary technology resource for clinical, financial, and third-party information systems. This role involves planning and designing business solutions, facilitating data integration, and providing operational support for system configurations. The analyst will also be responsible for user training and acting as a liaison between IT and end-users to enhance productivity and decision-making within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provides day-to-day operational support for assigned systems.
  • Participates in supported system implementations for Billings Clinic and its regional partners.
  • Acts as a liaison and expert with the end-user community and software vendors to identify problems and concerns regarding technology performance.
  • Researches, analyzes, and provides recommendations for corrective action to resolve problems with system functionality.
  • Collaborates with technical resources and software vendors for system enhancements and implementation of recommended fixes.
  • Maintains current knowledge of trends and developments related to information management systems.
  • Identifies and seeks out growth opportunities and shares knowledge with colleagues.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned to meet the needs of the department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience (2 - 9 years).
  • Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and sound judgment.
  • Ownership and accountability of assignments with a strong work ethic.
  • Project management skills and ability to participate in projects and teams.
  • Analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Healthcare experience.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
  • Understanding of Billings Clinic policies and procedures, HIPAA, and confidentiality requirements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with system configurations and operational support.
  • Knowledge of clinical, financial, or third-party information systems.
