QUES is seeking an IT Applications Project Manager to oversee assigned application and systems development projects of varying complexity. This role is responsible for end-user engagement, requirements gathering, developer engagement, and managing schedules and resources to ensure timely completion of assigned projects. The IT Applications Project Manager is an experienced leader responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing project delivery within their team. They lead project scoping, stakeholder coordination, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities also include creating status reports, managing risks, and collaborating with third-party partners. They play a key role in coordinating initiatives across various domains and manage all aspects of the projects they lead. In this role, you will manage software development and QA professionals while prioritizing work based on overall business and technology strategy. You will maintain intimate business knowledge of all internally authored software applications, processes, and requirements to effectively aid in day-to-day operations, essentially becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the operational processes. You will navigate shifting priorities and negotiate with stakeholders to meet project objectives. Facilitating daily and weekly Scrum ceremonies, including client-facing Sprint Reviews, will be part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate with stakeholders to align, identify, and track requirements, then proactively manage risk and issues via identification and mitigation plans for all projects. Additionally, you will create clear requirements for development teams, including but not limited to drawing mockups, building BPMN charts, and ensuring comprehensive acceptance criteria. Leading training sessions and building upon the existing documentation library for end-user support will also be part of your duties. You will be responsible for multiple concurrent projects that can cross multiple product teams and support teams through the delivery of features while managing software releases. The ability to present proposal solutions to all levels of client management is essential.
