About the position

The IT Asset Management Analyst at Endeavors is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that the delivery of IT assets and services meets the high standards of the Endeavors IT department. This role is crucial in supporting the mission to empower individuals and families by ensuring that IT services are compliant with the requirements of funders and partners. The analyst will manage the entire lifecycle of IT hardware and software, which includes tracking assets within the ITIL v4 ticketing system, overseeing shipping, storage, receiving, and warranty processes. In addition to managing the lifecycle of IT assets, the analyst will evaluate hardware, software, and contract asset trends, assess risks, and analyze return on investment to meet organizational goals. Reporting to leadership and stakeholders is a key responsibility, as is documenting all relevant information and steps taken in the Endeavors service desk ticketing system. The analyst will ensure that asset services are delivered in accordance with related contracts, policies, and procedures, while also ensuring compliance with grant and department funding requirements for assets and inventory. Attention to detail is paramount, as the analyst will be responsible for updating knowledge base articles to facilitate information sharing and innovation. The role also involves defining metrics, data collection, and reporting on the effectiveness of IT asset management processes. Furthermore, the analyst will develop, document, implement, and improve asset management procedures to meet operational requirements, ensuring that the IT department operates efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by prioritizing the needs of clients, including children, families, and veterans.
  • Manage the IT hardware and software lifecycle, including tracking within the ITIL v4 ticketing system.
  • Oversee shipping, storage, receiving, and warranty processes for IT assets.
  • Evaluate hardware, software, and contract asset trends, risks, return on investment, and goals.
  • Report to leadership and stakeholders on hardware and software asset compliance.
  • Document all information and steps in the Endeavors service desk ticketing system.
  • Ensure asset services are delivered in accordance with related contracts, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure IT complies with grant and department funding requirements for assets and inventory.
  • Update knowledge base articles for information sharing and innovations.
  • Define metrics, data collection, and reporting on the effectiveness of IT asset management processes.
  • Develop, document, implement, and improve asset management procedures to meet operational requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline such as Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-7 years in an equivalent technical role.
  • Proficient in Windows 11 Professional.
  • Knowledge of account creation through Active Directory.
  • Experience with NIST 800-53 requirements.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Environment.
  • Familiarity with Technology Troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Office 365.
  • Prior experience with ticketing systems or tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) software.
  • Prior use of IT Asset Management Systems.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop access software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and managerial expertise.
