About the position

The IT Asset Analyst position at GovCIO is a fully remote role focused on supporting a newly awarded customer contract. The analyst will coordinate with business and technology teams to ascertain system requirements and provide technical expertise in developing and supporting systems. This role requires a blend of business knowledge and IT understanding to effectively meet customer needs and improve government IT operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with business and technology teams to ascertain system requirements, including program functions and output requirements.
• Provides technical and functional expertise in identifying, evaluating, developing, and supporting systems.
• Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems.
• Interfaces between systems architects/programmers and users to ensure IT designs meet end-user needs.
• Documents product/service requirements and develops test procedures to ensure user requests are fulfilled.
• Interacts with testing requirements to ensure traceability and test coverage.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of relevant experience or commensurate experience.
• 2 years of asset management experience.
• Must have an active HUD Public Trust clearance.
