About the position

The IT Asset Management Analyst is a remote role focused on advanced data analysis related to IT hardware, software, and business applications that have reached end of life (EOL). The analyst will assess data to identify trends, gather EOL remediation plans, assist with routine reporting, and contribute to the development of EOL process enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Collects remediation plans from owners of IT hardware, software, or business applications which have reached EOL and documents details in a central repository.
• Assists with analysis of end of life data for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicating analysis output.
• Assists with IT hardware, software, and business application end of life reporting based on data analysis, industry trends, and process capabilities, conveying patterns, problems, and areas of improvement.
• Prepares or assists with documentation, including routine metrics and supporting narratives, and contributes to supporting procedures and job aids.
• Leads by example, recognizes opportunities to mentor and to be mentored.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of experience in System Support or Analytics OR High School Diploma or GED and 7 years of experience in System Support or Analytics.
• Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail and ability to identify and interpret data trends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• IT Asset Management experience, with knowledge of ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, or Configuration Management modules being a plus.
• Ability to take initiative and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven organizational and time-management skills, including the prioritization of multiple tasks.
• Experience working in an agile environment; experience with Jira is a plus.
• Familiarity with FFIEC and ITAM frameworks such as ITIL, NIST, and COBIT is a plus.

• Knowledge of ServiceNow modules related to IT Asset Management.
• Experience with Jira for project management.
