About the position

The IT Asset Management Lead will oversee a small team of IT Asset Management Technicians and support engineers at a major diabetes-focused medical device company. This role involves managing the inventory and shipment of medical devices and mobile phones to engineering teams for research and development testing. The position is hands-on, ensuring that all devices are fully functional and ready for use, while also focusing on team efficiency and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of IT Asset Management Technicians and support engineers.
• Manage the inventory and shipment of medical devices and mobile phones.
• Ensure all devices sent to engineering teams are fully wiped and functioning.
• Oversee the team's efficiency in handling inventory, shipments, and ticketing.
• Maintain hands-on involvement in daily operations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a help desk or IT support role.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience handling tickets using ServiceNow or a similar system.
• Basic understanding of iOS vs. Android devices and their functionality.
• High school diploma or higher.
