We are GDIT, one of the largest IT and mission services providers to the government. We offer our customers the power of choice through a vast cloud ecosystem. GDIT is your place. You make it your own by bringing your passion for accelerating the cloud. By owning your opportunity at GDIT, you are helping to ensure our mission is never interrupted. Our work depends on a Video Teleconferencing Engineer, joining our team to support the Department of Energy activities at various locations in the United States. At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an Asset Management Technician, supporting the Department of Energy, you will be trusted to work on complex projects and be responsible for providing technical, administrative, and operational management of a variety of development efforts and projects ranging from simple to complex. The Asset Management Technician will update processes to catalog existing assets, dispose of EOL assets, and order replacements where necessary, referencing existing government processes and toolsets. You will work with federal management to update and drive a process, account for assets, dispose of assets, list assets for disposal, report assets inventoried, and report assets disposed. You will also participate in special projects as required and must have the ability to work well with others and communicate effectively with supervisors and government customers. Your success will be measured through an accurate asset inventory and timely reporting of inventory and disposal information.
