About the position

The IT/Asset Project Coordinator will oversee the desktop and device engineering processes, ensuring compliance with configuration standards and managing the User Device Lifecycle. This role involves collaboration with various teams and vendors to design effective desktop and device application solutions, while also maintaining vendor relationships and supporting procurement processes across multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with established standards, processes, and procedures for desktop and device engineering.
• Assist with the oversight of the User Device Lifecycle, including budgeting, procurement, and asset management.
• Gather information on existing workflows and assist in creating and maintaining processes for device lifecycle management.
• Coordinate scheduled procurements across facilities and work closely with EITS Finance on equipment needs.
• Facilitate quote requests and review submitted procurement requests for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Maintain vendor relationships and standard work processes for updates to stakeholders.
• Assist with asset management processes to track user devices.

Requirements

• Experience in project coordination and management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and MS Project.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple teams.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
