About the position

Cayuse Technologies is seeking an IT Asset Support Technician to provide essential information technology help desk operational support services to the Air National Guard Readiness Center (ANGRC). This position is critical in ensuring that the ANGRC staff can effectively carry out their mission capabilities. The technician will be responsible for managing an inventory of approximately 9,000 IT items within the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS). This includes ensuring that all accountable IT items are accepted on another EC account before their release, which is expected to occur 3-6 times daily. The technician will also be tasked with the disposal of packing and waste materials in accordance with ANGRC, Air Force (AF), and Department of Defense (DoD) guidance, which typically involves handling 4-6 pallets per month. In addition to inventory management, the IT Asset Support Technician will oversee the disposal of hardware and software products, ensuring compliance with applicable government policies through established processes and checklists. The role requires completing annual accounting and monthly accounting of 10% of all trackable assets, adhering to relevant policies and laws. Furthermore, the technician will be responsible for accounting for all Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) provided to the workforce, ensuring proper reporting and management of GFE that transitions within the IT support areas of operation. This position is not only vital for maintaining the integrity of the IT asset management process but also plays a key role in supporting the overall mission of the ANGRC.

Responsibilities

Requirements
