About the position

The San Francisco Giants are seeking a Part-Time IT Assistant to provide front-line technical support and assist in the roll-out and maintenance of IT equipment. This role is essential for supporting the organization's IT needs and ensuring high-quality service delivery. The IT Assistant will work closely with the Helpdesk Team and the IT Department to address technical requests and contribute to the overall success of the Giants' strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1-2 Helpdesk support, fielding IT Helpdesk requests and responding in a timely manner.
• Log all activities in Helpdesk software and assign tickets to appropriate technicians as needed.
• Setup, install, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop computers, mobile devices, and printer hardware.
• Perform basic software support for Windows 10/11 OS, Mac OS, MS-Office Apps, and Google Workplace Cloud Apps.
• Assist the Ballpark Operations department in achieving LEED certification by preparing and recycling older equipment.
• Document standard support procedures and update inventory records.

Requirements

• Experience in a technology-related field is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to author and deliver messages effectively.
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in supporting Windows & Mac Operating systems, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Networked Printers, Fresh Service, Slack, and Zoom.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs.
