About the position

The IT Audit Analyst is responsible for executing audit activities related to information technology, security, system implementations, and data privacy. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with SOX controls and governance processes, assessing the adequacy and functionality of these controls, and providing recommendations for improvements. The analyst will prepare reports summarizing audit results and assist independent auditors during assessments, particularly in the Order-To-Cash (OTC) project.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with senior management and understand the company's culture and strategic goals.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while ensuring quality and exceeding client expectations.
  • Work proactively with leadership and IT teams to ensure SOX control requirements are met without deficiencies.
  • Identify and assess key IT, security, and data privacy risk areas within the organization.
  • Plan and execute SOX controls and audit activities across enterprise applications while adhering to professional standards.
  • Produce high-quality SOX audits and ensure satisfactory documentation of results.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders to deliver on requests and clarify project status.
  • Assist in closing out audits/projects, identifying issues, and developing audit reports in accordance with standards.
  • Maintain a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members.
  • Coordinate with independent auditors during audit procedures.

Requirements

  • 3 years of Information Systems auditing experience.
  • 3 years in auditing and an Information Systems related discipline, such as Information Security or Systems Development.

Nice-to-haves

  • Cybersecurity/IT risk assurance expertise.
  • Certified Information System Auditor (CISA).
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
  • College degree or work equivalency.
