About the position

The IT Audit Manager at CoBank is responsible for planning and executing IT audits based on risk assessments and management requests. This role involves supervising the IT audit team, ensuring compliance with professional standards, and providing training and development opportunities. The manager will also collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver insights and recommendations that enhance the bank's risk management and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Plan and assign IT audits based on risk assessments and management requests.
• Supervise the performance of IT audit work and assist audit managers and staff auditors.
• Maintain professional expertise in leading practices of the audit profession.
• Provide ongoing training and career development opportunities to supervised staff.
• Deliver verbal and written presentations and reports detailing audit results to management.
• Manage the risk assessment process and develop innovative suggestions for improvement.
• Coordinate with external auditors and other third parties for IT-related matters.
• Prepare clear and concise audit reports and assist in budget preparation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, technology, information systems, or a relevant discipline.
• Six years of audit or relevant experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Advanced experience with auditing principles and best practices of the internal audit profession.
• Knowledge of COSO framework, GAAS, GAAP, and regulatory requirements for financial institutions.
• Excellent technical, analytical, and research skills.
• Demonstrated supervisory or managerial skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree and/or certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA preferred.
• Proven ability to utilize an enterprise-wide view of risks and controls for audit planning.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
