The IT Business Analyst with a focus on AI at Siemens Energy plays a crucial role in managing demand for AI-related internal use cases within the Digital Core Gas Services organization. This position involves analyzing business requirements, collaborating with global teams, and implementing AI-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency. The analyst will serve as a subject matter expert on AI, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between business partners and AI teams.

Responsibilities

• Process demand for AI-related internal use cases within the Digital Core Gas Services organization.
• Collect and analyze business requirements and translate them into Digital Core requirements.
• Act as the point of contact for the global Gas Services Business regarding internal AI demands.
• Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for AI-driven improvements.
• Collaborate with the AI office and AI teams to implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
• Participate in Digital Core projects as a Subject Matter Expert on AI.
• Contribute proactively to key user communities and process guides.
• Ensure effective day-to-day collaboration between the business partner organization and AI teams.
• Support the Head of Digital Core Gas Services on General IT Management topics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of confirmed experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role, with a focus on AI.
• Solid understanding of AI technologies and their application in business environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional and global teams.
• Willingness to travel for project-based work.
