About the position

WOONGJIN, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled IT Business Analyst who is bilingual in Korean and English to join our rapidly growing team. The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in gathering and documenting business requirements, configuration designs, test plans, and results, as well as other deliverables necessary for implementing effective solutions. This position requires close collaboration with technology infrastructure, business software applications, and operational partners to create scalable and efficient process automations. The ideal candidate will evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement innovative solutions. In this role, you will lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies while staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in IT and process automation. You will conduct meetings and presentations to share your ideas and findings, perform thorough requirements analysis, and document and communicate the results of your efforts effectively. Your ability to gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports will be essential. You will work closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff to ensure that solutions meet business needs and requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing user acceptance testing, managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance. Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures will be part of your responsibilities, as well as prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements. As a liaison between stakeholders and users, you will monitor deliverables and ensure the timely completion of projects, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and document business requirements, configuration designs, test plans, and results.
  • Work closely with technology infrastructure, business software applications, and operational partners to create scalable and efficient process automations.
  • Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.

  • Communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports.
  • Work closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff to ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.

  • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in business or related field; an MS is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in business analysis or a related field.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent documentation skills and a track record of following through on commitments.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Experience leading and developing top-performing teams.
  • A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
  • Knowledge of WMS, Logistics, and ERP is a plus.
  • Integration/API project experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Korean and English.
