About the position

The IT Business Analyst/Data Analyst role at Vaco is focused on managing and analyzing bank deposit data. This position is essential for creating a centralized knowledge hub for deposit-related information, facilitating collaboration across various business units, and providing actionable insights to support business decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills and a background in banking deposits, along with excellent communication abilities to work effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a central knowledge hub for all deposit data, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for stakeholders across the bank.
• Work closely with teams such as Treasury and Regulatory Reporting to address and resolve data queries and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Utilize SQL to analyze deposit behaviors and patterns, providing actionable insights to guide business decisions and strategies.
• Offer direct support to business partners by providing necessary data insights for effective problem-solving.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with banking deposit data.
• Strong ability to write SQL queries, perform joins, and conduct detailed data analysis.
• Excellent communication skills with a proven track record of effective collaboration across diverse business teams.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Netezza and Jira.
