About the position

The IT Business Analyst at Tri Pointe Homes is responsible for the implementation, support, and maintenance of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications specifically tailored for the homebuilding sector. This role involves collaborating with various business stakeholders to gather requirements, document processes, and provide ongoing support for the JDE Homebuilder system. The analyst will also focus on data analysis and reporting, ensuring that the systems align with business objectives and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and gather detailed requirements.
• Lead the implementation and optimization of JDE solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Manage projects from inception through completion, including planning and resource allocation.
• Provide day-to-day support for JDE applications and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop and deliver training programs for end-users and technical teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements.
• Facilitate effective communication between business users, IT teams, and external vendors.
• Develop and maintain reports to provide insights into business performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on JD Edwards systems within the Homebuilder Module.
• In-depth knowledge of JDE EnterpriseOne applications, including Homebuilder Management modules.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office Excel related to data manipulation.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Hyphen BuildPro is a plus.
• Database and SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Proven experience creating reports utilizing report writing tools or other relevant software.
