About the position

Join a rapidly growing international chemical distribution company as an IT Business Analyst, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness of IT solutions in day-to-day operations. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment that emphasizes innovation and technology, particularly in AI and Environmental Sustainability Initiatives. While primarily remote, candidates must be within a 90-minute commute to Suwanee, GA for training and occasional meetings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for tech support.
• Ensure the overall effectiveness of IT solutions in day-to-day operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network, systems, applications, and other technical issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Configure required technology for new hires.
• Administer core platforms, including O365, Salesforce, ERP, and ServiceNow.
• Assist users in understanding and utilizing technology effectively.
• Coordinate with third-party partners and vendors to maintain platforms.
• Safeguard digital data from theft, damage, or unauthorized access.
• Restrict viruses and cyber attacks from accessing or corrupting data.
• Maintain security controls and conduct security audits.
• Work with business partners to understand system challenges and opportunities.
• Analyze and document business processes and data flows.
• Design improvements to increase efficiency and usability.
• Recommend solutions to enable the organization to meet its goals.
• Collaborate with partners and vendors on requirements for new technology solutions.
• Coordinate project activities with external partners and business stakeholders.
• Work with external partners to ensure successful adoption of new technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of information technology experience.
• Experience in cyber security required.
• Experience leading or supporting digital transformation strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Datacor and/or ServiceNow a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency with network configuration and management, firewall installations, and administration of operating systems.
• Knowledge of IT service operations and business process realignment.
• Basic knowledge of IT architecture.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint) and Google Sheets.
• Strong communication skills; ability to assist and train others.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills; strong organization skills.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines accordingly.
• Ability to develop innovative approaches and ideas for improving efficiency and effectiveness; ability to bring operational insight to strategic discussions.
