About the position

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Business Analyst in Latin America to support a Fortune 500 manufacturing client. This is a key role in helping the Application Development team deliver success to the business stakeholders. The Business Analyst will work within an agile methodology, adhering to true Business Analyst responsibilities. This individual will collaborate with the global delivery team and business stakeholders to develop methodologies utilized by the business for various system upgrades. The role requires the Business Analyst to integrate themselves into the organization to effectively define and refine business processes that align with the organization's goals and objectives. The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and documenting functional requirements, ensuring that the expected results are clearly articulated. This includes writing and reviewing detailed test plans, executing them, logging bugs, and retesting as necessary. Strong written and oral communication skills in English are essential, as the role involves direct interaction with users and developers in a team setting. The candidate should have experience with web applications and data interfaces, as well as a good knowledge of Office365 tools. A willingness to learn and demonstrate initiative is crucial, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The candidate must possess a strong systems and process orientation and be comfortable working remotely, primarily using virtual collaboration tools with colleagues and managers. Experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies is also required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Application Development team in delivering success to business stakeholders.
• Work within an agile methodology to fulfill Business Analyst responsibilities.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of IT Business Analyst experience.
• Ability to write functional requirements including expected results.
• Experience in writing/reviewing detailed test plans and executing them.
• Proficient in logging bugs and retesting.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English.
• Ability to work in a team setting, collaborating directly with users and developers.
• Experience with web applications and data interfaces.
• Good knowledge of Office365 tools.
• Willingness to learn and show initiative.
