About the position

The IT Business Analyst at Westcor Land Title Insurance Company is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions. This role involves analyzing business requirements, coordinating integration projects, and ensuring seamless system operations. The analyst will participate in the entire project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment, while fostering strong relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Identify business system requirements and related business/application solutions for specific needs.
• Enter and manage tickets in Westcor's internal tracking system from written requirements for development.
• Participate in the entire lifecycle of projects, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including test plans and regression suites.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and IT operations.
• Foster strong relationships with external partners and vendors.
• Drive process improvement by identifying opportunities and aligning business processes with systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to maintain system stability.
• Complete tasks required by IT management when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 years of directly related experience in Title Insurance.
• Knowledge of title production software and its interaction with external services.
• Analytical skills.
• Data management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
