About the position

The IT Business Analyst role focuses on managing and analyzing service requests related to telecommunications and network services. The position involves gathering business and technical requirements, facilitating client meetings, and consulting with subject matter experts to ensure successful project integration across various telecommunication services. The analyst will work in a hybrid environment, managing multiple projects and collaborating with technical teams to deliver effective IT solutions.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and present data regarding weekly Service Requests.
• Gather business and technical requirements during client kick-off meetings.
• Consult with Subject Matter Experts on tasks for integrated projects in telecommunications services.
• Manage multiple projects based on agency assignments.
• Facilitate meetings with clients to gather requirements for IT solutions.
• Identify impacted business processes and determine best process and IT solution integration.
• Disseminate information effectively to technical teams, customers, and managers.
• Facilitate review sessions to discuss project progress.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years experience with Microsoft Project and Excel.
• Minimum 3-5 years experience with Remedy/Helix.
• Minimum 3-5 years working within a Telecommunications environment.
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in a large Enterprise setting.
• Minimum 3-5 years work experience with multiple network platforms.
• Minimum 3-5 years working with multiple network lines of service.
• Minimum 5+ years dealing with customers.
• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with multiple agencies, vendors, or departments in an enterprise environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Minimum 1-3 years experience with Clarity.
• Minimum 2-3 years experience with DevOps.
