About the position

The IT Business Analyst will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. This position involves gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements for new products and enhancements, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology team members to elicit, analyze, and validate business requirements for new products and enhancements.
• Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals and requirements.
• Assist in backlog prioritization and grooming activities to align with business objectives.
• Transform functional and non-functional requirements into user stories with detailed acceptance criteria.
• Familiarity with the Gherkin framework for documenting user stories.
• Manage the Change Advisory Board (CAB) change management process for assigned projects.
• Coordinate Quality Assurance Testing (QAT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities in support of your user stories.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Ability to facilitate communication between business and technical teams.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and user story documentation.
• Experience with Change Management processes.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Gherkin framework for user stories.
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance Testing (QAT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes.
