About the position

The IT Business Analyst will support the Business Continuity Program's Application Resiliency Testing Requirements within the financial industry. This role involves collaborating with various technology teams to ensure effective testing and recovery strategies, driving improvements in recoverability and resiliency, and preparing executive risk presentations. The position requires strong communication and relationship management skills to coordinate with stakeholders and ensure compliance with testing standards.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Business Continuity Program's Application Resiliency Testing Requirements.
  • Support testing deliverables across Global Technology.
  • Work closely with Technical Recovery Testing including Application Resiliency Certification (ARC) and Data Restoral Programs.
  • Drive annual efforts to improve recoverability and resiliency through analysis and reporting.
  • Track applications' ability to perform SAP testing and ensure recovery strategies are documented.
  • Track compliance and remediation strategies for applications that are out of compliance.
  • Communicate and negotiate with stakeholders to leverage resources for timely deliverables.
  • Prepare senior executive risk presentations on a monthly basis.
  • Handle weekly processes for notification and escalation of pending and past due work.
  • Support technology teams in firm-wide risk programs by delivering requested artifacts and verifying completeness.
  • Assist in Disaster Recovery testing processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate with Technology Management to monitor execution and completion of Testing and SAP activities.
  • Partner with Technology Management in quality assurance programs and SAP testing reviews.

Requirements

  • Understanding of key systems including CPT (Continuity Planning Tool) and Tableau dashboards.
  • Sound knowledge in business continuity and Disaster Recovery planning and testing.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to learn quickly and produce results.
  • Experience in coordinating with stakeholders for Business continuity and Disaster Recovery drills.
  • High integrity, energy, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented, and organized with good judgment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively across multiple organizational units.
  • Strong oral and written language skills.
  • Relationship management and process re-engineering skills.
