About the position

SCA Health is seeking an IT Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in Myrtle Point, Oregon. In this role, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive business requirements for various projects, ensuring that these requirements are thoroughly tested and aligned with the original intent. You will engage with project sponsors and stakeholders to document their needs, facilitating discussions to crystallize their thoughts and minimize the risk of omitting key functionalities in the initial requirements documentation. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage relationships with senior management will be crucial as you lead requirements meetings and ensure stakeholder approval before the development phase begins. As an IT Business Analyst, you will also play a pivotal role in the testing phase of projects. You will be responsible for developing test cases that align with the business requirements and overseeing the application of these test scripts to ensure desired outcomes. This includes creating a test plan, performing hands-on testing when necessary, and logging progress against the project's test plan. Your analytical and organizational skills will be essential in managing risks, completing status reports, and approving deliverables throughout the project lifecycle. In addition to your technical understanding of application programming, database, and system design, you will be expected to maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies. Building lasting relationships with clients and effectively communicating their needs will be key to evaluating alternative business solutions and ensuring successful project outcomes. Responsibilities

• Lead requirements meetings to capture all business needs.
• Ensure the requirements match the approved scope of the project.
• Detail out the scope requirements and produce a detailed business requirements document.
• Obtain approval from all stakeholders on the business requirements before the development phase starts.
• Facilitate team and client meetings effectively and attend project team meetings for assigned projects.
• Communicate relevant project information effectively to superiors and resolve or escalate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
• Possess a general understanding of application programming, database, and system design.
• Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and possess a thorough understanding of information technology capabilities.
• Develop lasting business relationships with client personnel and communicate effectively to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
• Apply business requirements to SCA's testing methodologies and create test scripts.
• Oversee the application of test scripts to ensure the desired result and create a test plan for hands-on testing of applications when necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Project Manager and/or Business Analyst in an IT environment.
• Bachelor's degree or significant business requirements experience required.
• Experience building test scripts and/or test plans required.
• Experience with MS Project, Visio, and Word.
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, including a proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment.
• Proven ability to manage key stakeholders while managing competing priorities.
• Strong leadership skills including conflict/issue resolution.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with clients, stakeholders, and senior management.
• Ability to work effectively with project resources across multiple departments.
