About the position
The IT Business Analyst at Nebraska Medicine is responsible for managing the IT Intake and Assessment Program, ensuring effective communication between technical and non-technical teams. This role involves evaluating project feasibility, defining project scope, and facilitating the transition of projects from initiation to execution, while aligning with business objectives and enterprise architecture.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate project feasibility and define project scope.
- Gather and document requirements from stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams.
- Participate in project prioritization and sequencing processes.
- Assist with IT Assessment processes and communication between Management Committees, stakeholders, and IT teams.
- Contribute to the seamless transition of projects from initiation to execution.
Requirements
- Minimum two years of progressive work experience in managing multiple projects or business process analysis.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information technology, engineering, finance, or a related field required.
Nice-to-haves
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) preferred.
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) preferred.
