As part of Loggerhead's Information Technology (IT) team, the IT Business Analyst will serve as a crucial liaison between various business units and technology teams. This role is designed to define processes and identify opportunities for process improvement. The IT Business Analyst will be responsible for documenting stakeholder requirements, measuring and monitoring process efficiency, and developing and managing projects. This position requires coordination of implementation, testing, training, and communication efforts with vendors and multiple business groups. It is a business-facing and technology-facing role that demands excellent communication and organizational skills to create alignment among multiple sponsors. A typical day in this role may involve partnering with stakeholder teams across business units such as Finance, Sales, and Operations to collaboratively develop necessary analysis and documentation. The IT Business Analyst will communicate effectively with production, managerial, and executive teams, continuously evaluating, analyzing, and communicating IT systems requirements while maintaining systems processes. This includes delivering monthly status reports to all relevant parties. The role also involves authoring and updating internal and external documentation, formally initiating and delivering requirements and documentation, and conducting daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems. The IT Business Analyst will be expected to develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners for optimized systems integration, responding to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations. They will drive the identification of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through the evaluation of real-time data. Additionally, the IT Business Analyst will serve as a thought leader for technical business processes, create and implement management plans for projects, and determine user requirements for IT systems in production to ensure maximum usability.
