About the position

The IT Business Analyst position at pep is designed to enhance technology support for client services and administration teams. The role involves collaborating with various teams to document business requirements, develop solutions, and improve existing applications, ensuring efficient operations and effective marketing campaign execution.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to an agile project development team to understand and document business and client requirements.
• Estimate work, develop new solutions, and enhance existing applications.
• Spot areas for improvement to enhance pep software product's efficiency.
• Review business requirements, design, write, and execute test cases and scenarios.
• Isolate, replicate, and analyze issues in existing web applications.
• Work closely with administrative and client service teams to identify technology impacts.
• Report defects and verify solutions with the development and IT technical team.
• Conduct timely analysis and triage of incidents/problems.
• Research new technologies for software testing and security scanning.

Requirements

• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Experience with web application usage and testing.
• Excel and Power Apps experience and understanding of use cases preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to be client facing and mentor team members.
• Intermediate-level math skills for calculations.
• Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's in Technology with a 2.8+ GPA from a four-year college or university.
• Minimum 18 months of applicable business experience.
