About the position

The IT Business Analyst plays a crucial role in collaborating with business leaders and IT stakeholders to plan, implement, and support IT business applications that align with the company's digital and IT strategic vision. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and business acumen to enhance processes and systems within a complex manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a subject matter expert for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and other business systems.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, analyze existing processes, and identify areas for improvement in technology and/or processes.
• Translate business needs into clear and actionable functional/technical requirements, to deliver information technology solutions.
• Configures, tests, trains and supports business-related information technology requirements and systems.
• Researching and analyzing user’s business requirements, technical specifications, writing test plans in support of business functions, process knowledge and system requirements.
• Data analysis and reporting: Analyze complex datasets, perform data mapping, and develop meaningful insights to support decision-making processes. Create and deliver comprehensive reports, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
• Change management: Support organizational change initiatives by facilitating communication, training, and user adoption activities. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth transition and successful implementation of new processes and systems.
• Project coordination: Assist in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring activities. Track project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure timely completion and adherence to project scope.
• Accountable for delivery of solutions (Business Process), plus the architecture and documentation within their area of technical expertise.
• Establishes methods to monitor and improve performance of systems and processes.
• Identifies deficiencies in IT systems/processes and recommends solutions / areas for improvement.
• Understands business impact; Create and communicate decisions impacting the wider business, effectively managing customer expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 3-5 years' experience in Information Technology
• Solid knowledge of business and ERP processes in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience with SAP or Infor Visual ERP, a plus
• Experience in handling business processes for manufacturing, finance & Supply chain
• Proficient in IT life-cycle management methodologies, including design, development, testing, project management and change management.
