About the position
The IT Business Analyst at Nebraska Medicine is responsible for managing the IT Intake and Assessment Program, ensuring effective communication between technical and non-technical teams. This role involves evaluating project feasibility, defining project scope, and facilitating the transition of projects from initiation to execution. The analyst will work closely with various stakeholders to gather and document requirements, aligning them with business objectives and enterprise architecture.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate project feasibility and define project scope for IT initiatives.
- Gather and document requirements from stakeholders across various departments.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams regarding IT project requests.
- Participate in project prioritization and sequencing processes.
- Assist with the IT Assessment processes to enhance communication between Management Committees, stakeholders, and IT teams.
- Contribute to the seamless transition of projects from initiation to execution.
Requirements
- Minimum two years of progressive work experience in managing multiple projects or business process analysis.
- High school education or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information technology, engineering, finance, or a related field required.
Nice-to-haves
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or Project Management (e.g., PMP) preferred.
