About the position

Genesis10 is seeking an IT Business Analyst for a contract position in the financial industry. The role involves managing projects, developing project plans, and optimizing business processes. The analyst will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, document processes, and ensure solutions meet business needs. This position requires effective communication and leadership skills to guide junior staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance.
• Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies.
• Document and communicate the results of efforts.
• Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
• Perform detailed requirements analysis, document processes, and conduct user acceptance testing.
• Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, and uncover areas for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
• Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports.
• Work closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.
• Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.
• Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
• Update, implement, and maintain procedures.
• Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
• Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
• Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.

Requirements

• Project Management experience
• Enterprise Risk Management experience
• Business Analyst experience
• Foundational understanding of the business and/or technical domain based on specialization.

Nice-to-haves

• Ability to evaluate business processes and uncover areas for improvement.
• Good communication skills and capable of working as a team player.
• Experience with MS Office Excel/PowerPoint.
