The IT Business Analyst position within the Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) Agency Services focuses on providing technical support for Medicaid Applications to the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). The role involves acting as a liaison between Agency Services and other areas within DTMB and vendor partners, ensuring smooth migration and implementation of applications, and providing ongoing support post-implementation. Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Medicaid Applications to MDHHS staff.
• Act as a liaison between Agency Services and other areas within DTMB and vendor partners.
• Ensure smooth migration and implementation of applications.
• Support MDHHS staff after implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 21 semester credits in computer science, data processing, or related fields.
• Two years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11.
• Knowledge of information technology application design and development.
• Proficiency in PC software such as Java, .Net, Oracle database, Discoverer, and SQL database.
• Ability to analyze instructions and data, and prepare detailed documentation.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of MS SQL Server, MS Visio, MS Project.
• Familiarity with fundamental Project Management Methodology (PMM).
