About the position

The IT Business Analyst serves as a crucial liaison between PCI-FS companies and the Information Technology team, reporting directly to the Director of Information Technology. This role focuses on evaluating and improving systems, performing integrations, and ensuring compliance with security policies. The analyst is responsible for providing support, training, and technical advice to enhance the use of software and services, while also troubleshooting technical issues and collaborating with various stakeholders to optimize business flow.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate systems for improvement and perform integrations between systems.
  • Ensure security, configurations, policies, and compliance are managed and followed.
  • Provide support, training, and technical advice to enhance the use of software and services.
  • Evaluate new software releases and provide recommendations based on business needs.
  • Maintain and upgrade existing systems as required.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide technical support to end-users.
  • Collaborate with Business Leaders, Management, and the IT team to resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and procedures.
  • Prepare reports on system performance and incident resolutions.
  • Assist in implementing and enforcing security policies and protocols.
  • Participate in disaster recovery drills and testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technology solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Good understanding of computer systems, networking, and IT infrastructure.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including SharePoint and related products.
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Basic knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Any relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Associate) are a plus.
