About the position

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position. The IT Business Analyst will engage with business partners to analyze, implement, and update processes by utilizing sound process improvement models and techniques. The role involves managing the design or redesign of processes or projects using six sigma methodologies, integrating best practices with process design to ensure continuous process improvement, and building action plans to drive execution. The analyst will manage teams to achieve process or project objectives, focusing on processes within a product or service delivery within a single business unit or department, typically directed toward improving a single business, product, or function. Additionally, the analyst will maintain a multi-year roadmap to support critical business objectives, lead technology governance activities, and interface with technology development and support teams to ensure on-time delivery of products.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business partners to analyze, implement, and update processes using sound process improvement models and techniques.
• Manage design or redesign of processes or projects using six sigma methodologies.
• Integrate best practices with process design to ensure continuous process improvement.
• Build action plans and drive execution.
• Manage teams to achieve process or project objectives.
• Focus on processes within a product or service delivery within a single business unit or department.
• Maintain multi-year roadmap to support critical business objectives.
• Lead technology governance activities and interface with technology development and support teams to ensure on-time delivery of products.

Requirements

• Agile experience - working with Scrum Master, developers, tech leads etc.
• Data management/governance background.
• Experience in process improvement, process flow, business process.
• Ability to lead/manage their own workstream from inception to post implementation.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and able to execute all of their assigned tasks on a daily basis.
• Proficiency in JIRA.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Micro Strategy / Tableau.

Nice-to-haves

• Green Belt or Black Belt certified.
