About the position

The IT Business Application Analyst - Supply Chain / Planning will play a crucial role in providing architecture design and governance expertise. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders and leadership across the business and IT to achieve company objectives, focusing on sustainable and efficient energy solutions.

Responsibilities

  • In-depth knowledge of the process from sales to revenue realization, including contract management, billing, and collections.
  • Host business process evaluation workshops (as-is, to-be).
  • Develop initiatives and best practices for continuous business process improvements.
  • Design, develop, and implement business processes to achieve organizational goals.
  • Track and communicate the status of business initiative projects to management.
  • Assist in providing cost/benefit analysis with the business.
  • Analyze business requirements and provide viable solutions with appropriate toolsets.
  • Model and demo solutions to the business.
  • Provide guidelines to implementation teams for processes accepted by the business.
  • Coordinate and review developments to be implemented with identified toolsets.
  • Assist the implementation team in building solutions fit for given processes.
  • Assist in budget planning, resource allocation, and scheduling for process improvements.
  • Plan, implement, and monitor business processes.
  • Provide impact analysis for designed or planned process changes.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of tools identified for a given process.
  • Assist in making business decisions related to tool selection and system implementation.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of business process documentation for test cases and training documents.
  • Update business processes to meet changing business needs.
  • Present analyses, solutions, and business cases to senior management.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop business process requirements and future process maps.
  • Work on future transformational projects with the transformation team.
  • Support the enterprise architect team with decisions related to new solutions and strategic IT decisions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of functional Oracle ERP consulting experience related to Supply Chain / Planning or related products.
  • Implementation experience of at least 5 company-transforming projects (e.g., ERP, Supply Chain, Planning).
  • Strong planning, organization, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a virtual team environment.
  • Willingness to travel based on business needs.
  • Thorough understanding of business processes.
  • Knowledge and expertise in using process-engineering software.
  • Capability of coordinating with other disciplines and clients.
  • Proven skills in routine process calculations and use of process software and in-house developed spreadsheets.
  • IT tools related technical background & expertise preferred.
  • Scrum certification a plus.
