About the position
The IT Business Consultant II plays a crucial role in providing demand management, business consultancy, project management, and IT-related services to business clients within the Unified Communication and Collaboration (UCC) team of Conferencing Services. This position involves identifying and analyzing business needs, influencing project scope, and delivering innovative technology-enabled solutions. The consultant leads IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and maximizing the value of IT services.
Responsibilities
- Influences IT-related business decisions through direct engagement with clients.
- Demonstrates understanding of business processes and interactions with other domains.
- Proposes improved and innovative business processes.
- Plans, organizes, and oversees resources for project goals and objectives.
- Acts as a liaison between the business and internal technical service providers.
- Prioritizes demands on IT services to maximize business value.
- Demonstrates domain capabilities in Conferencing Services, particularly with Microsoft Teams Room technology.
- Leads product teams and influences peers to achieve program management goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
- 2-7 years of progressive IT and business experience, preferably in IT Infrastructure and Enterprise Data.
- Advanced business process knowledge and capability to apply technology solutions.
- Experience working with Marketing & Sales or Business-facing IT organizations.
- Demonstrated project management capability with successful project completions.
- Strong communication skills and relationship management capabilities.
- Advanced understanding of system design methodologies and project implementation life cycle.
- Advanced data analytical skills using tools like Power BI.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Microsoft 365 suite (SharePoint, MS Teams).
- Familiarity with Power Platform suite, especially Microsoft Power BI.
- User Experience (UX) knowledge through formal training or experience.
- Experience working globally, ideally with over 2 years abroad.
- Fluency in additional languages, particularly Spanish and German.
