About the position

The IT Business Data Analyst role focuses on enhancing operations related to information technology within a company. The analyst will provide consultation to management to improve effectiveness, analyze current IT hardware, software, and services, and suggest changes to IT policies and operations. The position requires strong research skills to identify trends and solutions, as well as problem-solving abilities to address issues as they arise. Continuous monitoring of implemented solutions for efficiency and improvement is also a key aspect of the role.

Responsibilities

• Improve operations involving information technology within the company.
• Consult with management to enhance company effectiveness.
• Analyze hardware, software, and IT services to identify areas for improvement.
• Research latest trends and solutions in IT.
• Suggest changes to IT policies, structure, and operations.
• Utilize problem-solving techniques to address detected issues.
• Monitor implemented solutions for efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses and other data analyses.
• Create project plans for IT development and testing.
• Translate requirements into new IT project specifications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in web analytics, customer care analytics, or product analytics.
• Highly proficient in SQL, Python/R, Tableau, AWS Athena, and RedShift.
• Experience with A/B testing and defining metrics for data tracking.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and quantitative thinking.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Outstanding communication skills with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Strong organization, time management, and task prioritization skills.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

• Experience in an IT Tech environment.
