About the position

The Business Intelligence (ETL Developer) role is focused on the design and implementation of data mart models, including the development and maintenance of ETL code. The position requires a strong understanding of source systems and the ability to map these to data mart models, ensuring effective data management and validation processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data mart models.
• Map source system models to data mart models.
• Develop and maintain ETL code.
• Define and capture metadata and rules for ETL processes.
• Develop ETL validation code.
• Understand and profile source systems.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2 years of hands-on experience in a large-scale, high-availability data warehouse.
• Experience with SQL and Oracle.
• Experience in writing complex transformation logic in PL/SQL for ETL business rules.
• Experience with STAR schema design.
• Hands-on working knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL.
• Experience in SQL performance tuning in Oracle environment.
• Experience with software development life cycle.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Datastage ETL Tool.
• Experience with MicroStrategy.
• Work experience in an Agile development environment.
