The IT Business Lead Analyst is a senior-level position that plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business users and technologists. This position is responsible for ensuring that information is exchanged in a concise, logical, and understandable manner, facilitating effective communication between the Technology team and business stakeholders. The primary objective of this role is to contribute to the continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures, ultimately driving business planning and strategic decision-making. In this role, the IT Business Lead Analyst will provide valuable input during the development and implementation phases of projects. This includes formulating and defining systems scope, objectives, and necessary enhancements for complex, high-impact projects. The analyst will also be tasked with identifying and communicating risks and impacts associated with technology applications, proposing risk mitigation options while considering the business implications of these technologies in the current environment. The position requires consulting with business clients to determine system functional specifications and collaborating with multiple management teams and other units to meet organizational objectives. The analyst will evaluate new IT developments and evolving business requirements, recommending appropriate systems alternatives or enhancements to current systems by analyzing business processes, systems, and industry standards. Additionally, the role involves providing in-depth analyses with interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions, and influence strategic functional decisions. Supervisory responsibilities include managing day-to-day staff issues, resource management, work allocation, mentoring, and coaching. The IT Business Lead Analyst must also appropriately assess risks when making business decisions, demonstrating a strong commitment to the firm's reputation and compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
