As the IT Business Operations Analyst at MCC, you will play a pivotal role in defining and managing internal IT standards and processes. This position is essential for identifying and communicating best practices to the IT Project Management Office (PMO) and performing business analyst tasks on key projects. You will be expected to be flexible and support the office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) as needed. Your contributions will help ensure that MCC continues to lead in the premium labels industry by developing consumer-driven innovations and sustainable packaging solutions. In this role, you will gather, document, and validate business requirements from clients and stakeholders, translating these requirements into functional and technical specifications. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with developers, testers, and project managers to ensure alignment and feasibility of solutions. You will also conduct testing, troubleshooting, and user acceptance of solutions, providing training, support, and documentation to end-users and stakeholders. Monitoring and reporting on project progress, issues, and risks will be part of your responsibilities, along with conducting research and analysis on industry trends, best practices, and benchmarks to provide insights and recommendations for enhancing business processes, systems, and performance. Additionally, you will assist the Information Technology teams with annual budget planning and project budget planning, partnering with Finance to communicate planned and actual spending against budgets. You will prepare reports from financial systems, business intelligence systems, or manually in spreadsheets for spend reporting and budgeting templates to be shared with key stakeholders and leadership. Your role will also involve preparing budget and financial presentations to communicate key points related to budgeting, IT spending, and project portfolios. Training and communication will be another critical aspect of your role. You will determine the best ways to train IT resources on new processes, develop training materials or presentations, and present content efficiently. You will prepare status communications on various topics as needed and collaborate with both IT resources and other business functions to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables. In terms of research and procurement, you will help identify and pilot productivity and collaboration tools to drive efficiency in internal IT operations. You will assist other IT functions in researching software solutions and delivery partners, and occasionally drive Requests for Information (RFI) or Requests for Proposal (RFP) efforts to select new IT vendors and suppliers. Collaboration with the Corporate Procurement team will be necessary to communicate the status of the IT backlog and priorities. Finally, you will help identify a framework, best practices, and standards for quality and change management across the IT delivery organization, customizing the framework as needed to fit MCC's internal culture and needs. You will lead the rollout of this framework and manage ongoing processes to ensure they are incorporated into the overarching IT PMO processes. Small project execution will also be part of your responsibilities, where you will lead project teams and manage resources effectively.
