The IT Business Program Support Analyst position within the Department of Defense focuses on providing expert technical assistance related to IT acquisition support resources. The role involves coordinating and interpreting policies, planning and implementing strategies for contract administration, and serving as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) to ensure compliance with contractual obligations. This position is critical in supporting the DLA J6 oversight function for IT acquisition requirements and involves occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical assistance on IT acquisition support resources.
• Support the DLA J6 oversight function for IT acquisition requirements.
• Coordinate and interpret DLA and DoD policies related to IT management and acquisition.
• Plan, develop, and implement policies and strategies for contract administration.
• Serve as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and monitor contractor performance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, delivery schedules, and payment provisions.
• Research and analyze performance metrics and business strategies.

Requirements

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in IT contract management.
• Experience resolving IT contract management problems including payment and performance issues.
• Experience serving as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for IT services and supplies.
• Ability to monitor contractor compliance and evaluate vendor proposals.
• Experience identifying IT contractual deficiencies and developing procurement recommendations.
