About the position

The Business Systems Analyst at Yusen Logistics plays a vital role in bridging the gap between various cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT staff, project managers, and developers. This position is responsible for identifying and documenting functional requirements, conducting workflow analysis, and evaluating existing application products to develop recommendations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a deep understanding of business processes and system analysis techniques, ensuring effective collaboration and problem-solving across departments.

Responsibilities

• Identify and document functional requirements.
• Conduct workflow, process diagrams, and gap analysis.
• Evaluate existing application products and develop recommendations.
• Write specifications for interface programs.
• Coordinate installation and first-use of new applications.
• Resolve issues related to applications involving team members, vendors, and clients.
• Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams.
• Gather, review, and analyze business and industry data, including KPIs and financial reports.
• Assess options for process improvement, including business process modeling.
• Maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes, and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst or equivalent experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders.
• Resourcefulness and ability to devise creative solutions to problems.
• Experience testing and mapping various business processes and protocols.
• Familiarity with industry technology systems to gather data and problem solve.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
