About the position

The IT Business Systems Analyst Advisor at Elevance Health is responsible for collaborating with business and technical teams to document detailed requirements, ensuring that data solutions meet business needs. This role involves participating in Scrum ceremonies, creating report mockups, and maintaining data mapping documents, all while confirming that development results align with business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Scrum Team ceremonies.
• Identify data sources to meet business needs and complete data profiling.
• Create report mockups and review with business and technical teams.
• Identify gaps in data and work with the business to find alternatives.
• Create and maintain data mapping documents outlining source-to-target data and transformation requirements.
• Review results of development through reports, data, and tables to confirm alignment with business requirements.
• Work with data modelers to confirm table design supports business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Six (6) years of experience in related occupations.
• Experience in technologies used for accessing or profiling data.
• Experience in documenting requirements including mapping documents and outlining source-to-target transformations.
• Experience in building documentation that supports the development of stories with testable acceptance criteria.
• Three (3) years of experience supporting report book documentation detailing metrics in reports.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field plus four (4) years of related experience.
