About the position

Tutor Perini Corporation is seeking an IT Business Systems Analyst for our office in Henderson, NV. As a leading civil, building, and specialty construction company, we believe that integrity, teamwork, and a collaborative approach are fundamental to our business success. You will report directly to the IT Director of Business Applications and will be responsible for providing customer service and solutions on internal technology projects. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying emerging technological trends and driving innovation within the organization by proposing tech-driven solutions. You will document the current state of processes, partner with business teams to determine the future state, and prepare a plan for the implementation of approved solutions. This role requires you to actively listen to customer issues and challenges, research options to solve technical problems, and respond to and resolve intermediate questions. You will also be responsible for documenting processes with business teams, reviewing and improving application compliance processes, and planning project tasks for specific process areas. In addition, you will make recommendations and partner with business teams to determine the selected solution, implementing chosen solutions in a customer service, consultative methodology. Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service and solutions on internal technology projects.
  • Identify emerging technological trends and drive innovation within the organization by proposing tech-driven solutions.
  • Document current state processes and partner with business to determine future state processes.
  • Prepare a plan for implementation of approved solutions.
  • Interview, question, and actively listen to customers' issues and challenges to fully understand the current state.
  • Research and provide options to customers to solve technical problems.
  • Respond to and resolve intermediate questions.
  • Document processes with business teams.
  • Review and improve application compliance processes with the compliance team.
  • Plan project tasks for specific process areas.
  • Recommend remediation of solution conditions.
  • Review reporting and recommend changes using advanced tools.
  • Make recommendations and partner with business to determine selected solutions.
  • Implement chosen solutions to business in a customer service, consultative methodology.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years' experience in technology-related positions providing customer service, needs analysis, and solutions to customer challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Skilled at listening, customer service, written and verbal communication, and compliance with rules and regulations.
  • Understanding of scripting languages and API interfaces.
  • Good understanding of emerging technologies and use cases in the Construction Industry.
  • Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office Tools and/or Microsoft 365.
  • Possesses a problem-solving mindset, demonstrated customer service focus, and understanding of systems and processes.
