The IT Business Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in coordinating business and technical systems and processes, particularly in the context of Wealth Management. This position is responsible for the design, application installation, configuration, integration, development, testing, modification, troubleshooting, and maintenance of applications. The analyst will work independently with minimal supervision, exercising significant decision-making authority. A key aspect of this role involves facilitating Agile ceremonies, ensuring that the team adheres to Agile principles and practices. In this position, the analyst will support and deliver core computer information systems utilized by Wealth Management. This includes direct collaboration with internal clients and product owners to comprehend their specific business needs and translate these into technical requirements. The analyst will also prepare recommendations that weigh the costs against the benefits of implementing new systems and processes. Analyzing current business processes and suggesting improvements based on industry trends and professional insights is essential. The ability to decompose work into features and stories within an Agile framework is critical. The analyst will document detailed descriptions of functions, workflows, records, files, flow charts, and other necessary information to support project or application initiatives. Providing technical support for end-user departments and acting as a vendor interface for assigned applications is also part of the role. The analyst will support change control processes and procedures for applications, coordinate modifications to application systems, and maintain accurate department documentation, project logs, and correspondence in a professional manner. Collaboration with external vendors and technical support teams for the installation, maintenance, and support of software applications is expected. The analyst must be capable of self-management and include relevant stakeholders in the decision-making process. As part of an Agile team, the analyst will contribute to delivering products and services to the Wealth Management business, leveraging extensive knowledge of Scrum and other Agile methodologies. Familiarity with the roles of Agile Product Owner and Scrum Master is beneficial, as the analyst may need to assume responsibilities related to these roles as required. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
