About the position

The Capture Manager at Nakupuna Companies will play a crucial role in supporting the Information Technology line of business. This new position is designed to assist senior leadership and the Business Development team in managing and expanding the IT sector. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative problem solver who embraces innovation and learning, focusing on developing strategies to win contracts and achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in the acquisition processes of the IT market and advise leadership on optimal strategies and contract vehicles for winning contracts.
• Support the development and achievement of revenue targets within IT markets.
• Lead capture for complex and technical bids, including identifying client requirements and developing technical solution options.
• Build and manage the IT pipeline by identifying and qualifying opportunities and developing win strategies.
• Collaborate with Executives, Senior Managers, Project Managers, and BD Team Members to define and execute the BD Strategy.
• Adapt and sustain an efficient business development process from identification through proposal submission and contract kickoff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Five years of experience in Business Development or IT implementation.
• Experience with DoD (contractor, GS, IT sales, or military).
• Management or IT related certification is a plus.
• Expertise in the business development cycle.
• Working knowledge of the Federal contracting industry.
• Ability to lead and write technical proposal responses.
• Excellent writing, editing, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to research, collect, and analyze contract information.
• Knowledge of IT implementation concepts, methodologies, and technologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of GWACs, MACs, and 8(a) direct awards.
• End-user knowledge of Salesforce, GovWin, Azure DevOps or Qlik.
